Each year the sisters of KSM host an event on the MSOE campus to celebrate and educate about the hijab and the women who choose to wear them. At this event the sisters provide educational material about hijabs and offer to show participants how to pin a hijab on themselves. This event is important to KSM as it works to break down cultural barriers and fights discrimination and ignorance.
