Beginnings
In 2014 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering six women with open minds and open hearts saw a need for multicultural awareness and acceptance in their community. They banded together to create a sorority that would be a safe place for women and a powerful tool to promote diversity and acceptance. Those six women were Mariana Garcia-Perez, Kelsey Weinkauf, Sandra Mejia, Allison Raison, Nour Elqaq and Maria Bintz. They hoped in starting this sorority they could encourage and empower young women for years to come.
