Why did you join KSM?
I joined KSM because the sisters were very inviting and supportive, and it was a great way to make new friends. I also wanted to make the most out of my time in college, and joining KSM has been one of the greatest decisions I have made.
Describe your culture.
I was born and raised in Lebanon for 14 years; Lebanon is a small country filled with big-hearted people. Our education, traditions and values taught us to always give a helping hand. We are also extremely family-oriented – family comes first no matter how old or busy you are. We are also very lively and festive – for example, we take every opportunity to shoot fireworks, especially at weddings. We love music and dancing, and we take pride in our generous and abundant cuisine, such as kibbeh and shawarma.
Why did you choose your major?
After taking a programming course my senior year of high school, I became very interested in the concept behind programming and all the possibilities that lie ahead. I decided to major in Computer Engineering because I wanted to be able to contribute in the advancement of technology.
