Why did you join?
I joined KSM because I wanted to be involved in a group sisters that was dedicated to making positive change in the community. My favorite thing about KSM is learning about and sharing other traditions and viewpoints.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose to major in Mechanical Engineering (ME) because I have always been interested in math, science, and problem solving. I think that the problem solving skills that I am developing through my education have the potential to make immediate and positive change in the world. Mechanical engineering is a broad field that could lead me down many different paths and careers in my life, and I hope that I can use this education to make a difference.

Describe your culture.
My family is of German and French descent, but I don't think I would use those nationalities to describe my culture. My culture includes backpacking, hiking, and nature. I love being outside and being active. My culture includes playing volleyball and being a good teammate. My culture is also KSM and being a part of our Sisterhood and a part of what we stand for in promoting multiculturalism.
